Flasher Relay
Electronic perhaps.?? I want to switch over to LED'S in the turn signal lamps so I was out hunting for the flasher relay. I believe its on the left side in the rear tail section. I turned the blinkers on and listened for a click. Couldn't hear a damn thing. I'm hoping its electronic and not load dependent like a regular bi-metal flasher...
So anyone else replace the regular blinker bulbs with LEDS yet?

If you have a problem, do what I recommended over on the 10R forum...we did an R6 this week and it was done that way with perfect results.

Load resistors? Yeah, I've had a homemade tailight integrator and LED tailights on my 12R for 5 or 6 years now with load resistors.. I would rather get away from that and use an electronic flasher. The resistors work fine but lots of wasted electricity turned into heat...

Ya, but it has no ill effect on the circuit, costs only pennies, does the job perfectly and if the flashers are not electronic, you don't have much of a choice anyway The so called "load equalizer" circuits you can buy are exactly that for much more money in a plastic case anyway. Anyway, there isn't enough heat on the bike...

If can use an electronic relay thats basically plug in instead of cutting/splicing or crimping some damn resistors into the circuit I would rather do that. Now to find some bright 1156 Yellow LED'S that will fit in the blinker housings..
