Strange noise found in top end of 14
From day 1 of delivery my 14 made this strange loud sucking noise when i blipped the throttle and even worse when i was hard are on the gas, today i decided after 1200 miles to take it apart and find the annoyance,I found it !, the air suction valve tube that goes into the air box was never hooked up it was just laying there, maybe thats what they did in the crates to pass emissions.

Just a piece of advice - on ALL new bikes I buy I strip off all the bodywork and check everything.
You'd be amazed at how often you find loose bolts or other crap that was missed during setup.

I have experienced the same type noise coming from my 14 as well. Thanks for the post, I am definately going to check it out.
