I have been to DC. While I have no statistics to back it up, my bet would be on CA for the state with the most sportbikes. 12 month riding season, large disposable incomes, and some (but certainly not all) of the best roads in the country = lots and lots of sportbikes

TJ, I know there allot of sportbike in Cali.... But look at the size of state.... If you come, you will see in Sring, summer and fall.. That most of all the bike's you see out in the DC area are sportbikes... I own three sportbikes.. Also there allot of good road out here too. Plus you get to see green leaves on trees and allot of mountians..... Check out Dealsgap.com and killboy.com to see what type of roads that are out here on the east coast.

I know what the east coast is like. I have lived in Georgia, South Carolina, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. There are some great roads out east. Deals gap is awesome (I am no stranger to the dragon). There are just many more (in my opinion) great roads in Cali. I guess we will have to agree to disagree until someone comes up with a sportbike count by state
