Are we heading for a sell-out?

Talked to reps at CKM yesterday.. they said that ALL the ZX-14's were spoken for, and then some.. possibly looking for a sell-out in Northern Canuckistan.

I'll chat with KMC today and see what's in the works for da USA.

Kinda cool though! Shoulda bought stock in September...

bummer.

Fishy if you want to buy stocks... check out oil sands stocks bro!
seriously if interested PM .
I work in the oil sands.
Most oil sands stocks have on average increased in value by 60% each year over the last 3 years!
Developments are unreal.
50 billion to be spent in oilsand development over next 5 years!

Things have changed over the past 10+/- years. These days, there is absolutely no performance related difference between CA/49 state bikes. Weight difference, if any, is negligible.

It took Suzuki over a decade to best the ZX10/ZX11. I wouldn't be so sure we will see anything new for 2007.

The Cali still holds less gas? That does make a difference to us outback riders, far from home and no idea of what is down the road. Of course, the unknown is less and less with a laptop and an IT connection.

Plus the can takes usually takes up storage space.

The fuel tank has different part numbers on US/CDN vs CA, that would suck if they reduced your capacity by much...

Kawasaki online specs don't indicate a difference between fuel capacity on US/CDN vs CA models, they just say 5.8 gallons. Maybe it's just a TINY bit different?

I don't believe Kawasaki will sell all they make, Ya there was alot of guys waiting for the 14 but once everyone that was waiting gets theres they will be in the show rooms. I hate to say it but the busa will always out sell the 14 no matter how good the 14 is. My dealer is smaller and we sell 4 to 5 busa's a year. So far I've bought the only 14 and it sat on the floor for two weeks before I decided to buy it. My dealer has not orderd a zx12 for 4 yrs because they don't sell around here. Just my 2 cents from what I see working at my dealer. So if your close to Iowa and want a black one we will have 2.

Same situation in my part of the woods. I think a lot of people bailed because of the long delivery time and purchased something else. Something a little weird is happening though. It seems Busa sales have gone up. Dealer commeted (he carries both brands) that the people who (some) that were waiting on the 14 have decided to purchase a Busa instead. I think it has a lot to do with the aftermarket----there is no guessing what will work on the Busa and it all is avaliable RIGHT NOW.

Easy, your right the after market for the busa's is good. Guys might want the older Busa'a instead of the new one's when they come out for that reason.
