Just picked up my Black 14
Just got my Black 14 last night it was actually sold but they guy must not have qualified for it so I was next in line for it. I called around yesterday and everyone within at least 100 miles of Orlando had the blue ones or none at all. One dealer in Lakeland said they were selling thiers for 5000 over MSRP. I got mine in Sanford a SPS. They had one in each color before I got there.
So far only issue I have found is the brake lights not coming on unless you squeeze the lever to a certain point.
Well got to get going so I can break it in before we head for the mountains in 2 weeks.

I've seen your bike, in fact I mentioned to one of the sales people about the dot4 brake fluid was a bit low. I hope they filled it before you took delivery. Ditto on the front Brake lamp I guess until the brake pads break in we'll have to use the rear brake to get the stop lamp to come on.
Congrats again

Dot4? You mean the shit that eats through fairings and stuff? Now why wouldn't they use dot5 instead? Harmless on paint and plastics...I destroyed the left side fairings on my FJR with Dot4...just curious about that...can you use dot5 in place of dot4?

Dot5 brake fluid is not as consistent (at varying temperatures) as dot3 or dot4 fluid. Combine the inconsistency with a higher price and manufacturers have little reason to use dot5.
