Mines made it home

Well she is out in the driveway as we speak. the first thing i did was rmove the rear cowl. One question though i was wondering what was the problem with the cowl scrathing the paint. What are the solutions to this problem. I use velcro strip on the 12 but i would like to try a cleanr remedy with the 14

I was going to remove the little rubber strips that offer padding and add some thicker rubber pads, but I haven't done it yet.

Some haven't had the problem, but mine sure does. It probably has some to do with the weight of the rider. The heavier the rider, the more the seat is pushed down on it's cushions, the more that cowl rubs on the body...
