Lowering links install....How to.....
I picked up a set of lowering links from Muzzy ( nice parts) It's a very easy swap ... Drop the rear belly pan ( 4 allen heads) Next remove the bracket that holds the belly pan... (3) 10mm bolts .....I have my front end in a condor chock and i lifted the rear with my engine hoist... The old links are held in with 2 bolts( this suckers are tight) ... Head sizes are 14 mm and 19 mm ... Lift the rear of the bike from the seat under frame .. Lift it just enough to relieve the pressure on the links... Remove links and restall the new ones ...I put mine on the middle hole (1 1/2 drop) .. at this setting no need to cut or shorten the kick stand ...Remember to reset the chain slack .. The chain will get tighter as you drop the bike in the rear .... The zx14 looks cool slammed but i did it for drag racing .. Works great for short people too...
