Hell with aftermarket exhaust, has anyone done a baseline stock on a trusted dyno that they know what a bus or zx12 stock pulled for a good comparison.

Unfortunatly No ........ but the big question out here is the performance without
the PC.
I only had my bike for 2 days before I ripped into it, hopefully someone will do
a stock pull. I know there will be many variables, but just for a general consenses
on what happens to the 14 without re-mapping.

Most place with a dyno will do a pull (with no adjustments) for about $40.00 so if
anyone can do their stock bike we should get some good numbers.

It will be good to see what your bike makes with the pipe. Even though you don't have a baseline stock at least we will have some data to look at!

Bob,

Any K&N, or BMC on the horizon?

Has dynojet asked for a 14 from a customer, yet?

Yes, they have one, they posted a gain of 6hp (161hp to 167hp) on a all stock zx14 after re-mapping on the other site, it also said they were trying to get a test pipe from Muzzy, but it fell through or something.

About to go test out the Power Commander and ignition modul. Both units were placed on the side of the ram air duct for ease of installation.

Almost forgot the chart.

Was hoping for better hp I guess pipes are next

Fuck man...my Busa had more at the wheel with basic mods...seems little low considering that the they claim 113.5 crank TQ and the Busa claims103...I made 103 RWTQ with only pipes, PC3R and an airbox mod...I'm surprised, because this bike pulls harder and is faster than my Busa was...

I live in Vegas were Dynojet is at. I let them use my bike for a few days so they would have the info to build units for more 14's.

If I look at the chart, I see a rather large torque dip starting at 2700 and it doesn't come back till 4500...coincides with A/F mixture at the same RPM's...or is this normal? It seems like that's where the powerband is lost when you actually ride the bike....I don't think the PC can change the factory map issue we are experiencing either...

That's not bad for stock pipes after mapping. Afterall we are only talking about 52 more cc's.............

Everbodys dyno will read a little different ... I want to see the same bike with stock and then the pipe... I really don't care what the dyno says about max hp ..I want to see what the gain was stock Vs mods same bike same day....My zx10 147 on one dyno and 153 on another and that was with no changes..lol...Remember it's just tool, don't get hung up on the numbers...

Maybe KAWK will let the dealers reflash the ECU, if possible?

1. To lower the operating temperature.

2. To remove the SRM*, if applicible.

Muzzy's was saying that the 14 makes an awesome 8% more power at the rear wheel with just a pipe!!
