Whats wrong with the zx14s .. info inside,,
Just got back from my local kawi dealer in St Petersburg fla .... He called kawi today while i was there and asked what the hold up is ..... Kawi said the under sides of the gas tanks didn't get painted , so they are uncrating the bikes and painting them..... I also had him go on his dealer web site and see what was going on with the zx14 .... It showed he had two ordered but no release date .... A memo was shown that the zx14s where to be released April, but that all it said ....My dealer has been checking his dealer web site every day Because he is waiting for the zx14 as well as other bikes he ordered ...His show room is kind of empty right now ...
For those who keep posting that their dealers have the zx14 in stock ....I call bull shit !!!

well yer 100% wrong. The rumours were funny for a while, but what is bullshit now is a topic like this. The bikes are shipped and in the dealers.

It's one thing to compain that yer waiting, but a whole 'nuther to start rumours like that.

Ok how about this you call my dealer and tell him ... Saint Petersburg Kawi FLA as for the owner( Leon) and ask him if Lee was not just there asking about the bikes ... He will tell you he showed me the dealer website .... And also ask him about what Kawi told him on the phone about the gas tanks...... If it's a lie then Kawi lied .........NOT ME .......

uh... I have better things to do than call yer dealer who's feeding you stories...
The memo he got was released on this website as well, and all it talks about are shipping dates.
You can get him to log in here and tell the whole world his story. Stuff like this is best told first hand.
It's easy... posting is free. Tell him to log into www.zx-14.com.
BTW...

People have been working long hours in order to get these bikes shipped out as soon as possible. No one ever thinks about all guys at the corperation who really care what you think about the bike and the company. Many people at kawasaki work there because they bleed green, not because it pays well. Give them a break. They read this site too, how about you thank them once in a while for the great bikes they work so hard building, designing and testing?
I, for one, want to say thanks for everyone's effort at Kawasaki to build and amazing motorcycle that will be the new ruler by which all other hypersport bikes will be judged.
Maybe I'm just tired of people saying that there are no bikes, when it's obious they are in showrooms at some (not all) dealers right now.
If you want one bad enough you can get it now....

Then what is all this talk about a mass release??? I could see one or two days apart ...But only one dealer has been shown by Fish to have one ??? and only Fish has posted pictures .....The other people that said their dealers have one have no proof just a story ....

In other news: A shipment of bananas from Brazil arrived in some Florida stores before arriving in some Alaska stores. 22 Alaskans were heard complaining about the unfairness of this....

...ok, lemme try some rumor of my own because I'm bored and broke...as far as some dealers go, I will say this: Some dealers (no matter what the product) are stronger than others...let's call them the "A-list" dealers....the dealers from the A-list will be more connected with 'reliable' info from those in the know at Kawasaki and will get more product from the mother-ship sooner than those from the "B-list", or worse yet, the bottom feeders...
...why would a manufacturer send a flagship product (no matter what the product) to a small town (comparitively speaking) where it will get a minimum of exposure as oppose to a large market place (like SoCal or Fla) where it will get maximum exposer?...the dealers who are not from the A-list will say almost anything to keep their customer's interest afloat, yet ironically frustrate the customers who want it NOW!....

Is it just me or has the content in the forum gone to shit over the last few weeks? 
What's up guys? The bikes seem to be arriving (which is a positive sign by the way) and you should all have a 2 year factory warranty on it; so even if you entertain the conspiracy theories you have nothing to worry about.
In my experience dealers and distributors are not always well informed and some (not all) will say anything to hang on to a sale; its actually quite a natural and understandable process if you think about it.
The ZX14 is supposed to be a rare and special bike, so let it be just that. Rather savour "the days when everyone was trying to get there hands on one" and trust the good information.
Fish seems to be (and has been) on top of things, so my advice is to avoid messing with the dark side of the force by telling the forum admin he's uninformed and lets get back to some more inspiring content.

There not here in NC as of yet.. And I told they would be and I lost over 400 dollars for a vacation that I'm suppose to be on right now... Paid for back in Feburary.. I got lied to to many times.. Next week again as of today.. always next fucking week. So god damn sick of hearing that bullshit about ready to fucking put a damn bullit in somebodies head...
