FTS Finally Gets a 14
It's finally in my driveway!!! I picked it up yesterday afternoon. Just in time for rush hour traffic. 
It's running quite hot but I'm sure as it loosens up it will be OK. I'll get some water wetter.
It's awesome! Comfy,fast and big. I went to show it off at the local coffee hangout and parked next to a Triumph 675 and a Yamaha R-6. This thing looks like a bullet train locomotive next to those two anorexic machines. The blue color is stunning in person. The photos I saw do not do it justice. This thing causes a crowd to gather everywhere. Even a cop pulled in to check it out. He said he wanted one. He also said he rides a V-Max. If only they all rode. I'll try and post some pics later but It's 65 and sunny and a new bike outside. Gotta Go now!!

yup, doesn't matter whether their male or female, 8 or 48, everyone just stares... guys with vette's , hummers, stangs et all.
Pretty cool!
of course its the chicks i dig when they stare.... had to verify that before the mongrols jump all over me!

Yeah, I've noticed other bikers and even people driving beside me in cars take the old double take when I cruise by on the '14.
Most other riders seem to like the looks of the '14 in person. I have not received any negative comments at all..................not that I really care.

Really though I didn't buy it to impress anyone but me.... the rest is a bonus!

I got the stare just a few minuets ago. A good looking chick in a older vette, no race just cool.

I've had almost no looks at all when riding the 14! I've had a few under-age girls comment, "Pretty Kawasaki" but that is all. The most I had was today when a Yamaha sport bike came up behind me and when he got close enough to see what I was riding, he suddenly turned timid and kept his distance.

Had a Busa pull up to me 1st day out 3 weeks ago asking all kinds of questions....but lotta babes in hot cars turn their heads when this 14 comes by -- probably pissed at me for whitelining...LOL

I 've had hot jail bait .... and hot cougars make comments.
One girl looked to be about 20, jumped right on the back when I was pullin away from the convenience store, said take me for a ride.... I was like ok, gotta get a helmet.... she was smokin hot.... the other girl yells at me ... she's my sister... I'm like so....
She says she only 15.... I was like oh shit yup sorry no ride today...
Man they are much more developed and forthright at a younger age than I remember when I was that age..
I go over to visit a buddy, and his mother inlaw answers the door, she says new bike ?... Yup.. is Brad around... no he's at work.
Ok , I put my helmet back on... don't you want o visit with the girls?... ahh I don't think my wife would like that....
Oh too bad she says... i wanted to go for a ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like I said this bike could land me in trouble in many more ways than 1!!!!
Its good for my 35 yr old ego though!

Did the first "mod" today. Let the bike bask in the sun then slowly and carefully peeled the Ninja stickers off. Followed up with WD 40 to remove the residue and a good wax/cleaner to finish the job. Looks really classy. The goofy text on puffed vinyl is a sour note on an otherwise impeccably styled bike. Put some more break in miles on this evening. Will do an oil change Sat. and then put some miles on. Gonna be a good summer.

My bike gets a good amount of attention at group rides/bike nights. Other than that, non-riders seem to respond to it just as they would any other motorcycle. Jail bait wouldn't know the difference between a '06 ZX14 and a '94 Katana. That goes for most of the non-riding public.

they know exactly what it is but they are so jealous they don't want to show any emotions. zx14 hee haw!!! it is going to be a pretty nice weather this weekend!!!!
