We should make an own european thread.

You will also note the ONE BIKE per dealer for the initial shipment.
Unless your dealer is going to sell his floor model, I doubt we will be riding next week or even the week after.
Kawasaki has changed their web site to say available spring 06. The last day of spring is June 20th.
I hope I'm wrong and a pile of bikes ships, but I'm not holding my breath.

My dealer's first bike won't ever even SEE the inside of his showroom...

Crate -> assembly -> check ride -> ME!

German dealers have been instructed by Kawa NOT to keep any bike in the showroom or for rent, but all to bring to the customers as soon as they get them.

If that's true here and the first one at my dealer is a Blue one than I will be riding next week. Mine is the only blue bike pre-ordered at my dealer!

That wasn't meant too serious.
But to answer your question: I think there won't be any bikes on european ground for normal customers before most of US customers have their 14, because this rocket is primary made for your market, not for the european. So it would be interesting, if there is any information, how long we must wait after you got your bikes!
Never the less I'm happy for you and I hope we can see many pics end of next week.

Yes they are.... there is an entire dealer thing they have to do, starting with putting the front wheel on, then filling with fluids, etc... I have never done one but a few guys here have...

No shit? That's why the dealer is compensated for final assembly/prep on the invoice? And all this time I was thinking that the bike came in pieces...

I've built both my VFR from the crate. As you said adjust handle bars put front wheel on, fill with oil and gas, then do the same with the battery (fill & install) check the cowl to make sure things are tight and fire her up. GO. It's so much fun riding a new bike that get serious looks. Just a word of advice cover the 14 if your going anywhere for a time. One day I came out of class and 2 people were sitting on my bike. AAAHHHH "What the hell are you doing" I asked, "We were thinking of buying a bike like this." Well go to the dealership they'll let you sit for hours...Get the hell off my bike". Buy a cover with out ZX-14 written all over it, nothing like advertising what's under the cover.
