Magnetic tank bags

Will they work on this bike? Is the tank a combination of plastic and steel? All plastic? All the fuel is down low in a "centralized" position so what is up top? I assume air box and electrics?

I brought this topic up on another forum and was told that there is enough metal to hold a small tank bag, or another option was one with suction cups. I am going to hold out until I have the bike and try one out at the dealer.

There are also those strapped tank-bra-like tank bag holders for plastic tanks
I would use one of those
Do you know how the tank looks like after using a magnetic holder after a years?

I wont even post a close-up because the chock might be so harmful
that I could get lawsuits from the most sensitive of you
Remember to use use new paint shampoo and new paint wax
buy a custom tank bra to protect her

silicone some small pieces of steel under the plastic where the magnets contact.

I've used a mag tank bag on my ZZR on every long trip for 4 years, never had a problem. It's all about having a clean surface before you attach it to the bike. On the other hand, there may be some garbage mag bags out there that use a poor surface between the mags and the tank... smooth = bad.

My bag's a Marsee magnetic bag. I think it will still work on the 14 based on the amount of metal in front of the fuel filler.

On my MV Agusta and 04R1, they have the front of the tank, plastic air box cover.

Some guys do as Ozzy said, but I use the turn the tank bag backwards trick and it seems to work fine with all different bags

You'll probably have about another month? to do some research!!!
