The US and Canada also don't get the immobilizer alarm for some reason. I think the center stand is an option in the rest of the world.

I think you're right. I should have said "...can get centerstands from the factory"
Either way, I wish it was that easy for us - but I'm not sure that any US dealers would order one on spec that way anyway. The immobilizer on the other hand... I think that would be a popular option in many metro areas!

...amazing stuff, this....whoulda' thunk that we'd be clamoring for a centerstand on hyper-sports-tourer-GT-dragbike?

If it came with a centerstand as standard, a lot of people would be planning on taking it off asap.

The way I see it I ride 25,000 miles a year and do all my own maintenance. I know there are those who jack the bike on a stand and I want to make 2 notes, 1st storage of the stand is a PITA. 2nd when your 300 miles away from home how do you do quick chain lubing? It's anything but quick (to lube correctly). I can understand those with 16_ hp bike needing a weight adv but I'm betting this puppy is not going to have such a problem. Put the centerstand on thank you.

I have CLS-200 (~Pro-oiler or SCott-oiler) automated chain lubing system
I refill when tension the chain, If I forget I can do it next time
th reservoir is good for ~ 5000 km or more 3000 miles
the drop rate is fully adjustable and I use one higher than the recommended
After last summer the chain was perfect
I still want the centerstand and grab-handles on both sides

VPN,
I wondered if your chain gets dirty with the CLS-200. I have to admit my 1980 RX-7 had a cracked engine block and anything I had to do under that car was pretty simple. U-joints would dis-assemble as if they were new, and it really did not seem to pick up a whole lot of dirt. Not only does that bike look hot with the centerstand but the girl is cute as well...Hey I'm married to a wife that likes to ride, don't think a picture gonna beat that, nothing hotter than the wife riding the bike.

I still have to clean up the chain
It will still gather some cubic lightyears of dust from the roads
The ice roads of Finland get plenty of salt and sand during winter
and it takes while to clean them up in the spring.
The initial "boost" after a "standard" lubing is missing though...
The Bandit we are driving is actually owned by my Bride
I own the extra equipments and have he insurance
No picture can every rplace a mate that also likes to ride
last summer was our best time while we rode around Southern Finland
during the summer vocations. Two weeks and 1000 miles.
