Who cares what magazine tests the ZX14
The boys from Bikeland.org, Rickey Gadson, Ryan Schnitz, Brock Davidson and Scott Valetti already test the 14...

Check out the top headline. The big bad Kawi scared away the poor little Blackbird.

With all due respect i would like to hear from some old familiar editors from the rags too!
I wonder how much ram air effect was lost when they reduced the naca duct by what appears to be about 30% or so?
The pre-production bikes at the shows looked like they were the size of a volley ball.
The production units look like the size of a couple of soft balls.
Looked like the bikes Ricky etc got the smaller Naca inlets too!
Has anyone heard of reason for the change, and the effects?
The front end appears less aggresive with the smaller duct.

Maybe there was a velocity issue with the bigger duct?
Honestly, why worry about a prepo bike/

Motorrad Magazine will give its first impression in two weeks time. As I regard them top of the bill for their thoroughness and honesty I am anxious to read what they write. I can translate the article If you guys are interested.

The massive central duct couldn't have been very aerodynamic...that's my guess.

I really hate to hear than Honda scraps the SuperBlackBird
I already heard rumors on not doing V5
and thus I was already afraid of this
Now it's only Kwak & Zuk, perhaps Beamer? Yammy?

Just read the MCN and to be perfecrly honest they added nothing to the information already available on this forum. On the plus side, they loved it so it's further validation that this is an excellent motorcycle.
Does anyone know when Nikko Racing will have their G-Pack ready?

guys... we have all that info... I'll put the next two KHI PDFs up and online today that give you the remainder of the technical info provided by the OEM.
Short of actually having the bike as an everyday rider, there is no info you will get elsewhere that you cant find here.
As for traditional rags, those guys are all hard at work getting their stuff out, but they have to go to press etc so you have to wait for them to get their stuff printed and out to ya's. They were all there too.

It was changed for better aerodynamics, although I see the photos of the different sizes I was informed it would be a minor difference.
