Yo Kawasaki Canada :)

Hey KMC Canada ! , how bout one uppin the Aussies and make our own zx14 commercial to spark some over the top interest in the latest Kawasaki flagship , we have the Locations here in Canada that is for sure , so...Lets use them !

Here is the plot , have the zx14 with rider cover all the landmark locations in Canada from Vancouver to Newfoundland in the span of a typical 30-60 second commercial spot.

At the end have the rider ( riggerman of course LOL ) look at his watch scratch and shake is head in disbelief , then it would read "actual time" to the viewers giving potential buyers an idea of the awsome hype-r-ability ( is that a new word ) of the new kick ass ! zx14.

Id like to hear some opinions on this .
Hope Kawasaki Canada will see this

How bout a BC ferry pull out of Tsawwassen, kick up a big rooster tail and get up on plane. Onboard, all the peeps are peeling themselves on the back wall. Bumper sticker on the back of the ferry says 'My other car is a ZX14'.

...how about a CG long-shot of the typical swirling blackhole interpretation on the lower left side of the viewer.'s perspective...the sound of a motorcycle approaching...closer and closer, louder and louder as it shifts through its gears....then....* BRIGHT FLORESCENT GREEN FLASH*...the blurred image of a black motorcycle appears left of center space at hyper-speed...then the blurred image of the black motorcycle abruptly goes slo-mo for a few seconds in an arc so that the viewer can clearly and readily see in sharp focus that it is the black ZX-14 being ridden by a silvery-suited rider...ticker-tape the bike's hp/tq/top-speed vtals on the bottom of the slo-mo pan in bright florescent green digital font numbers....then...*BRIGHT FLORESCENT GREEN FLASH*....the black motorcycle returns to its blurred image as it arcs and exits right and away from the viewer on the screen at hyper-speed and disappears in a bright florescent green flash into the upper right side of the viewer's perspective.....then the narrated tag-line by a James Earl Jones-type booming voice"

"RIDING INTO ANOTHER DIMENSION......THE NEW ZX-14 SPORTBIKE.....FROM KAWASAKI.....G-SUIT AND STAR MAPS NOT INCLUDED"

...fan out parked ZX-14s in the colors available in its market region....

...I think the whole commercial could easily be CG'd, yes?

.....so, do I have a future in advertising? ....or should I keep my day and night job? ...just remember you read about it first here at bikeland from your friendly neighborhood worm~hole who owns this intellectual piece of property

That would be for Kawasaki of Canada...KMC is too damned tightass to make a commercial like that.

KMC commercial would be something like this:

Picture a long lonely road....A black dot in the distance swells into a ZX14 flat out. Camera zooms back, showing an intersection with a police cruiser sitting waiting to cross. The light changes from green to yellow for the ZX14. You hear the squeal of a sliding tire, following by the sounds of sliding metal, and the heavy thump, thump thump of a tumbling bike.

The trooper in the cruiser just watches, sitting at the intersection.

Commercial fades to black.

Really, I don't understand the marketing decision that dictates an important safety feature be not only unavailable on the standard production model in that market, but NOT AVAILABLE as an option for those willing to pay the extra.

BTW, if they follow the industry norm, ABS will be a mid-to-late year option. Ie; Triumph's Sprint ST

...how about a pic of a George Foreman grill on the left....slowly pan to the right and see a grilled NewYork steak with four horizontal sear lines on the it....a hint of white smoke wafting over the steak....slowly pan over to the right...the smoke gets thicker and thicker....then reaching the source of the smoke....a right-side view of a ZX-14 on the right in WFO burn-out....

"ONE WILL COOK FASTER THAN THE OTHER. SATISFY YOUR HUNGER. THE ZX-14. WELL DONE. BY KAWASAKI".

note: the GF grill is tongue-in-cheek play of the ZX-14's 'strates'....the NewYork steak pays homage to the original Z-1's code-name....the big-bore in-line four four-stroke that started it all
