Lights on the 14? Someone help me out, the 14 has a pair of low beams, a pair of hi beams, a pair of turn signals mounted low, and a pair of ? euro running lights? I am referring to the bubble eyed upper lens.

what's the point if the headlights are always on anyways? or do the headlights not automatically come on when u start the bikeon US models?

In Europe there are a lot of old reasons for those lights. One that You can use even today is that they serve as a parking light. So if You have to leave the bike to the side of road in dark You can put them on without any other lights so Your bike will be more visible and still be seen in the dark.

Here in the US we have had a park position on our bikes that illuminated the taillight and the front signals. Our front signals are dual filament and the one filament is not hooked to the flashing circuit, it is always on steady. Seems to be a cheaper and less ugly way to accomplish the same thing you have .
