Will you wait for ABS
If current trends hold true, Europe will get the ABS option right away, and the US/Canada will get a mid or next year option for it. So, do you wait?

If I were buying a ZX-14 (I'm not) and if I were sure I wanted the ABS I would not wait -- either it would be an interesting project to retrofit it once the US parts become available, or even better to do so immediately with European parts; or with a bike I was that close to buying, I would rather buy it without a given feature and have it to ride for a year, then sell and buy a new bike, than wait a year.
It's also unknown how good this ABS will be. It might even be the dreaded linked brakes though as a personal guess I don't think Kawasaki would do that on a sports bike.

Dont need no stinking ABS or AIRSHIFTER!!!...Aint that right Bergie!!!
No need on the DragStrip since thats where I go...No more street riding for me!!!

I do not like ABS.
No ABS for me. Waiting until Feb is bad enough.
