Well, I think the rags will like it. Its got all the cheap plastic parts that they complained the 12r didnt have. They will like the fact that the electrical wiring is covered. Its aparent that kawi wanted to seperate the zx10r and the zx12r and push the two furthur apart in styling and function. It reminds me of the RF-900.

I'll have to compare the new XX and busa to this thing and see what will win me over.

I'm starting to think i should buy the new CBR1000 and rework the engine this winter. I think the little honda will make a nice platform to start with.

I just dont know what to think...

The ZX10 runs like a Bat out of Hell so the answere is clear which Kawasaki is the one to have. Honestly my 12r will run a Buck Eighty all day any day. And honestly there just isn't many days or places to stretch her legs. So why does it need to be faster? All the 12 needed was less weight and better suspention and brakes. It was perfect in all other reguards. It's not a cheap thing to do, but lucky for use all those things can be corrected at home. I've got this bitchin tool kit I can fix anything with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shit!!!!!!!! That's great news Fish!!!!!!!!! Even more weight to drag around and more crap to have to figure out how to dumpster without shutting down the whole ECM in the process. This day just keeps getting better and better I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. It will probably come with news of a reverse gear added to the trans at the cost of deleting 6th gear because of room constraints in the cases. Or better yet they probably just made the cases bigger to hold the extra parts.

The air box is still in the frame so did they reuse the 00-05 frames? If so, then the motor will fit into all of years. And it has a 5.6 mm stroker in it.

Aftermarket headlights, undertail, and something to rid the bike of the finned bullshit on the side. Has anyone looked at their 2000 ZX12R silverbook? There is a couple of sketches in there that are damn near right on.

Gunner ya didn't read my post

Not saying that with enough machine shop work it can't be MADE to fit... hell a Pratt and Whitney turbojet or a Chrysler V8 could be MADE to fit... but ain't no way that motor is dropping into a 2000-2005 frame, at least not bolted up at both rear mounts with motor and frame stock in those locations it's not.

the zx-14 reminds me of tha old zx-11 its not bad i think everyone wanted to see more of a sportyer bike like the zx-12r was...its looks like its going to be a good drag bike and cruiser and something everyones going to pimp out wit all the chrome stuff .. i personally like the sport bikes that you can flip around in the corners like the 10r, 7r, 6r, etc. even the 12 wasn't that good for that it did it alot better then tha busa but not the way i like to get in so im gettting tha new 10 reguardless what they do wit zx 12,13,14 or whatever it is because none of them is going to suit my riding style! but besides that the zx-14 is nice looking im sure its fast as all hell too!!! I think kawi well sell lots of them..

Yeah, I wish some newbie would buy one and total it with about 50 miles on the odo...
I'd love to drop that motor in my 12 frame...

Well, seeing as how with substantive work a 12R motor can go into a ZX-6R frame, and substantive work would be required to get this into a 12R frame, why not put it into a 6R?

Now that would be SICK!

(Or for that matter into a 10R, as the two are quite similar size.)

I sort of like it.

I could pass on the wavy under tank filler panel thingy but o/wise I'll have to see one in person before I rush to judgement.

The 4-2 exhaust is easy to fix. It looks like its got some decent hardware in the brake department.

I'll ride that bike and actually see it in person before I start flinging turds.
