mental notes
1) my KLX400SR will effortlessly pull my big butt uphill on pavement into a headwind at a cool 85mph...I'm impressed!
2) its light weight and my barndoor riding style makes it twitch on the freeway...especially with strong winds...
3) the padded excuse for a seat sucks...
4) at spirited running (any speed greater than 70mph, but under 90mph), I get about 90 miles before it hiccups for reserve...
5) it shifts like buttah  ...a sixth speed would be nice (a'la DR350)...
6) it needs a bigger stock tank...and better tires for off-road...the OEM TrailWings seem perfect for the street and some gravel covered hardpack...
Who else out there has a DRZ/KLX 400?
