HELP...WON'T START!

I replaced my KLR650 handlebars with an aftermarket O'Neil...straight-forward swap...now the bike won't start...it has electricals ie. turn sigs, headlight, horn, guage lights...but it won't start...am I missing something?

Won't start, or won't turn over?? I know I had to eliminate my kickstand cable/switch.

FIXED!!!! ...note: when changing handlebars, try not to take apart the clutch safety switch (dunno why I had to do that:o)...I was staring at the garage floor in disgust and, as luck would have it, found a little 1/8 inch long ball-point looking spring staring back at me amongst the dog hair debris...hmmm....what this?...so I insert it with dialectic grease into a slot under the contact pin on the lever assembly...it preloads the contact pin against the potted contact strip on the harness...viola!...bike starts!...BAJA HERE I COME!

It's a good idea in my experience to unhook that switch anyway. I experienced a dead bike because of a faulty kickstand switch on the KLR and so did some people I know. Apparently it WAS a common problem. Don't know if it still is though.
