I have been first on the list at my dealer for some time now. He is going to call me from the dealer show to let me know the available U.S. colors. It will be between green and black I'm sure and the wifey wants the black one. With the close relationship between Akro and Kawasaki in the road racing arena's I'm sure a nice pipe is already available or darn close to it!

I really doubt I'll see one at a local dealer before April. And I won't be the first one buying one!

The Kawasaki and Suzuki dealer show is soon, then we will have delivery dates. Didn't get in line fast enough swift?..........or just waiting for some test material to evaluate before buying? I see a few people already picking it apart....................."I don't like those headlights" and " I don't like those turn signals". Everyone has their own opinion of course, but all in all I think they did a fine job on this model. Personally I think it looks very modern and shows very forward thinking. I can't wait to park one in my garage. ____________

me too.. but I'm with swft on this one.. .we (00 12 owners) were Kawi's guinee (sp) pigs and I dont want to be in that pos again... I can wait a season.. my 12 is pretty dialed right about now....

I noticed that also warbird. Some people dont like the looks of this or that. Hey, If its just a styling issue then that just personal preference but I havent heard anyone complaining yet about the mechanical aspects yet.
Not that we have alot of info to judge it by yet but....
How many people who are REALLY thinking about buying this bike, wouldnt buy it because of the turn signals or the headlamp shape?
If this little bike came in flat black only and only had a key a starter button headlamp, and a supper restrictive shitty looking exhaust system, and made 185 RWHP and weighed 410 wet, i doubt i could resist buying it.
Thats just me thou. Its all about performance.
But some people do the lights and chrome and whatever else looks different.

As much as I would love to get the first 10R in the area, I'll agree with you guys. Let's see how it all shakes out.

Don't have the luxury of waiting since my 12R is gettin' a tad long in the tooth (around 47K miles) and the warranty will expire in April. Have already arranged for a 4 year extension this time around. Even though the deal will also include the euro signals (when available) I still feel that if your looking at it... you ain't riding it.
