DINO CRASHED ! in route to MotoGP
Just spoke with Fish_Antlers who reports that, earlier this evening in Northern California our member Dino, who was on his way to Monterey,CA along with frEEk from Canada , had a nasty encounter with the local wildlife, a deer. The accidental stoppie that occurred caused him to up-end and over having the bike land on top of him. Not a good outcome for either Dino or the new ZX10R, I believe the deer escaped harm.
What is known at this time is that he is being air transported from the initial hospital with a broken leg, and pelvis, to another hospital TBA.
The accident occurred on highway 96 near Orleans.
We will keep you posted!

Would you please "mirror" this post in the ZX10, 12 and 14 zone. There are peeps who will be wanting this news. I don't know why I haven't been able too.... maybe just a girl thing, lol.

Talked to PK says Dino has been moved to Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She will be on line this evening with more info.

I have the same problem as Steve I moderate the 10 and the C14. Even if I could I would have to ask Steve how to do it.

ENough admin talk (jealousy is a bitch), where did Dino meet Freak? I talked to Freak just south of Seattle and he mentioned he was riding alone most of the way down. Hope Dino gets out soon. What happened to his bike? He need someone to help get it for nevermind, Orleans is past Salem, thats a long drive from Seattle.
Tell me what fairings got damaged, I know a guy who just installed race fairings on his 2005.. what year was his?

Hey really thank you. Didn't mean to make such a big thing, but it was a request from "higher up" ya know...
Don't know why the "web myster" himself didn't handle it this morning when he logged on and posted a picture of himself and Dino in the "Florida Kick Off BTR" thread. (what's up with that?) Guess he's been shaken and stirred by this VERY unfortunate incident.
All the best to you Dino. Speedy recovery and all... crashing sucks. Thankfully you're still with us

I believe the whole gang got together Monday night at Dino's (near Salem?) then frEEk and Dino rode south together from there Tuesday. I got the call from the "Antlers" unable to log on from the Redwoods asking me to post.
I think it's an '08 ZX10. Have no idea the damage. Doubt he much cares right now... I'm sure it's insured.
Jolly cool of you to offer up some help though!! Nice to see you're still a good guy
