EBoss? WTF

I think the only guy out there that has brand loyalty is Miguel Duhammel. I use to follow Eric Bostrom when he was with Kawasaki. The Ducati move did'nt work too well for him. Now he's with Yammy WTF? He needs to go back to Kawi, and pilot that 10R! He's still badass, I still remember when he beat Miladin on a 1000 with a ZX7RR. What are the chances for him to go back green?

When will Green make a competitive bike?

Those guys don't race to lose?

How long would you hang around with a losing team?

Hired guns, that's what they are.

Unfortunately, Eric doesen't get to decide where he rides.
With neither Haydon brother likely to go overseas and still winning races, Kawasaki rightfully is not likely to make changes. Unless there is a green satelite team or Roger Lee goes WSB and Eric is able to get out of the second year of his contract, he will be staying blue.

Miguel has ridden for plenty of mfgs - Yamaha Europe, Kawasaki, H-D, and Honda. Just so happens he's now been with Honda longer than the others.

Loyalty at this level involves much more than the brand. It involves money, how many classes they are obligated to race, who the tuners and engineers are, and common goals of development and progress. Kaw wasn't going to race Superbike, which was only one reason why he left. Eboz had plenty of success at Ducati (I believe 3 or 4 National wins in '05). If the money was right, I think most top level riders (not riding a Suzuki) would have left brand X to ride a Ducati in '04-05 because the perception was it should have been competitive with Suzuki (yes & no). The switch to Yamaha made perfect sense because part of the deal was Ben sliding into the Ducait seat. The Yamaha suits Eboz and his 3 wins in the FX class prove that. The ultimate goal is/was he'll be riding the Superbike in '07.

The zx10r is a good machine. Its the rider stamina. Tommy is there for half the race but falls of on the other half. Some riders fare well on other machines also .Take a look at Spies dominates on a superbike but gets dominated on a 600cc machine. I think Zemke,Boz, and Miguel can ride either machine well. I also know that those three riders have the most experience in FX and superbike, when Tommy comes from Superstock&Supersport. Give him a year to devolop the bike and you will see a contender.

The Hayden brothers results last year wildly conflict with that opinion. Gotta remember that both Hayden brothers have been riding injured for all but the first 2 races this year.

True, just saying somethings happening the latter half, Fatigue, injuries, Bike development or all of the above. Either way it needs to be fixed if he wants to be mentioned in the same breath as a 7 time superbike champ.
