Is it worth spending $400 on, is their any other systems i should look into? I did a little research on it, but i did not get any user feedback, everyone here always helps me out so im sure yous will come up with something for me....thankss guys

I have a scorpion alarm.works great! Has a vicinty alarm so if anyone gets close it churps, also vibrates the contoller in your pocket. It also has anti hijack so you can shut down your bike if anyone is trying to leave with it. Easy to install, battery backup as well. I like it anyway. I had an other alarm before and it was very hard to work. This one sets like you would if you wanted to lock your car door.

I don't have experience with any alarms but I will give you advice about locks. Don't buy an On Guard brand cable lock. The first time that I used it my bike was stolen. They cut right through the cable like it was butter. On Guard does not offer insurance on thier cable locks like they do to thier chain locks which is not what I was told when I bought the lock. Having your motorcycle stolen is a terrible experience, especially when you are on vacation. Good luck.
