Just felt like letting you know about that 2nd paragraph Fish. English professors have fried me. Nowadays it's hard for me to read an article w/out editing it or noticing any mistakes. Hope it didn't offend you. Just wanted to point it out for you because I know some writers would want it fixed.

LOL @ both of you. ZX, that was just cruel!
For some reason I can't "quote" or do a "POST REPLY"? It keeps saying "Only an administrator can change a topic". What in the world? I only can post in this quick reply box. :O

I checked the gear ratio for the '06 on the PDF version and then compared it the ratio listed in the tech manual for the '05 bike. They both have the same ratio for first gear. That is a bummer! I was hoping that they lowered first gear some. Oh well that is just reason to keep my '05.

Great, great read!
Wish we could get Doug Chandler on to chime in every now and then. It's awesome having input from the people we do have here, like Kerry and Rob and Doug Meyer...

fish...I'd really like to hear more about the tach on the new 10R. Can you throw down a quick exhaustive one-paragraph review on the new tach, please.

Beans I seen the tach yesterday and it's perfect!!!!! It went from Junk on the 05 to the best tach I've ever seen on the 06. The bike I saw yesterday was serviced and running so I made sure to check out the tach. If a fellow can't see the tach on the 06 he don't need a motorcycle. The bike is very nice and you'll be a happy camper before long. The stock pipes even sound pretty damn good. The looks of the ass end of the bike will grow on everyone and be accepted as normal before long. If I didn't have an 05 with less than 500 miles on it I would definitely buy an 06. I like it. 636 looks with 10R power what's NOT to like?
