ZX-10R Renderings.... amazing!
Are they real or memorex? Renderings by 18 year old CGI artist, Linus Hofmann.

Very nice work!
But likely using pics of the actual bike as input material. (Not that you said he did not.) Much harder to achieve this level of quality where photographs of the actual physical object do not exist, where trying to create something all-new that actually is just fantasy.
Cool stuff!

sorry trenace, but as I understand the photos are renderings created from scratch, and the artist does not ride.... just because I did not type something, it doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Please do NOT speak for me.
thank you!

Where did you gain that understanding, that photos of the actual bike were not used as any input, that he would not have needed images of the actual bike to represent it so accurately?

Hmmm, he says himself,
quote: I am using a bunch of photos and a side view shot of it in the viewport to get the rough dimnesions...other than that I do it by eye because O couldn't find any blueprints at all..
He uses photos. There you have it.

Show me where I "spoke for you." That is ridiculous. In fact, just in case someone might make the unwarranted assumption that since I made a post discussing use of photos,
that you MIGHT have said something on it that I was arguing against, I even stated specifically that I was not responding to anything you'd said on it. Just resuming your previous
routine I guess, that you'd started shortly after I began posting very frequently here. The interim during which you were not pulling this crap on me constantly was preferable,
but it really doesn't matter, as your "harass Trenace" routine is so very lame, actually the lamest I've ever seen from anyone, to be frank.

You are speaking for me by stating to the readership what you feel is true from what I did or did not say.
I dont need you to try to guess at what I said or did not say and then restate it like it's fact.
You;re not kreskin and you definetly cant read my mind!
I can speak for myself, thanks!
DOnt you worry... we'll break you of this habit
PS.. of course the guy had to use some pics of the bike... What.. would he "guess" as to what the bike would look like ...? Your point is pointless.

Fish, there are very few explanations for your repeated bullshit asserting that I was any way "speaking for you":
1) Your reading comprehension is utterly dismal and you actually believe that, despite being unable (of course, since it's not so) having been asked to demonstrate it and failing to do so. I doubt this explanation as you don't seem dumb, but to be complete, hypothetically it would be a possibility for your bullshit charge
2) Your reading comprehension is sufficient to be able to see it's not the case, but you're playing a dumb childish game, again.
Either way, it's not worth more words on that subject and will receive none from me.

One of those renderings was just under 3 hours to do, I figured it wouldnt take that long with today's top of the line dual-core processors...maybe I need to learn more about CGI.
Nice find fish! I like!!

i hope the author got huge credit for that job (assume it was for school) cause that had to take an insane amount of time.
as to the flat gray images all i can say is Expo 86!
and fish, cut it out, it's getting annoying.

Those renderings are absolutely brilliant.
I do some CAD draughting for a living & dabble with 3D as & when I have time (not much recently).
Using the software effectively is a very skilled operation, even with modern software but once you are up to speed with using it, it's suprising how quick very complicated components can be modelled. Many times I have seen this stuff demonstrated & they make it look soooo easy.
Wish I had the time, skill & inclination to do stuff like that.
The renderings take a lot of computer processing time to produce. Commercially most is done overnight over a network using all available workstations to produce fine detail & animations.
