an update for you all...Carl was released from the hospital and his back home now.....they pinned his leg and arm backtogehter and he expected him to fully recover over time....He is up and walking with a cane, and has his arm in a sling, but is able to move about on his own....
I thank you all for keeping him in your prayers and in your hearts through his time of need.
He also has told me tha the is done with motorcycles for now, atleast for the time being. He is giving it up as he feels he has put his family through alot and doesnt wish to ever do it to them again....I understand his decision......but am sadly going to lose a very good riding partner....
Thank you all again....
Jim

Glad to hear that he is doing better. Sorry to hear that he is giving up motorcycles but with everything that he has been through it is surely understandable. I hope the best for him and his family.

i broke my neck, back in three places, basal fracture, double cuboid fractiure, compound nose break, lip mashed up, and a LONG list of secondary injuries (nerve damage in eye, nerve damage in hand etc etc etc etc) when i trashed my three week old Zx10R there a while ago...
well, three months ago, and am now completely fully recovered, and realise that yes, chicks DO dig scars...
tell your friend i said heal fast...
