Adjusting suspension to avoid wheelies

So who knows the suspension settings for z zx10r that is wheelie prone? It is lifting too easy, and I need to adjust it...Anyone know all the different settings for the pre-load, damping, blah blah all that crap...I would think that we would soften the front and tighten the rear? but there are like 3 different things to adjust for each...anyone who knows there shit really well? you can email me also or post it up here. Also, settings for the race track would be good, so I know what to put it back to....also in case it makes a difference I am 250 pounds and 6'1" so am a heavy guy. Thanks

Damn!!!!!!!! That's about the same as asking how to talk one's self into prematurely shooting a load! Who would want to do that? Where I went to school carrying the front wheel is GOOD as well as DRILLING for hours is also good. OK! Who's been lying to me for all these years??

someone has been lying to you...when running the quarter mile and looping at 80-120 mph, you want to avoid the looping part...keeping the front down on the ground...good...looping....bad...ground good....looping bad.

No amount of suspension tuning is going to stop a wheelie if you wack on the throttle and dump the clutch. It's a super light bike with a short wheel base ham fisted throttle is going to bring the front end up.

I'm about 240 with gear on try 2 lines preload, 5 clicks out from full stiff for the rebound, and 5 clicks out on the compression on the forks.

I'm still trying to dial in the backend I'm currently at 24mm of threads on the preload. 1 3/4 turns out on the rebound and 5 1/2 turns out on the compression. The backend is bucking around all over on me and I'll do some more testing this weekend might have some better settings by mid next week.

let me know your final settings...I want settings for dragging, and then I want settings for either the track or some aggressive street riding. That way I can dial in whenever I need them.

You might need a longer chain but you should move the wheel back. do you track this bike? or just street? If you track it move about 3mm-5mm at a time because every little bit is alot when it comes to steering.
