My old sparkplugs

Hi guys, I finally got around to changing my sparkplugs. My bike seemed to be running rough, so I finally took the time to swap them out. These plugs have 11,477 miles on em.

I've attached some pics, can you take a look at them and let me know if you see any problems with the way the bike is running? (I've put a new plug in the shots as a reference)

TIA

No way to tell from those pics, sorry. What you need to show is down into the core of each plug so the color can be seen, but even then its extremely difficult to read them for wear, ect.

Thanks for the reply, I had tried to get closeups, but neither of the cameras I have will focus in that close. The core color is a light tan to off white. They weren't wet when I took them out either. In terms of wear, they seemed pretty close to the new one, just discolored really.

Only thing I've changed on my bike was a BMC air filter, and Akropovic carbon slipon.

light tan -off white sounds good. if there were a noticable diff in color from one plug to the next it would bear investigating further but by your description everything sounds good.

Cool! Yeah, they are pretty consistant in color over all four. The old ones don't really seem that worn out, but I'm pretty sure the bike is running smoother now with the new ones. Could all be in my head, but hell, what isn't
