Small world. I lived in Sacramento for 13 years. South Sac by the Elk Grove border off Franklin Blvd. Been in SoCal since '93. Ortega is definetly not getting any safer....

k bryant,

Yeah, we talked before when I first bought my 10 last year and to refresh your memory when I bought skins from Second Look and you asked on this site about the owner and I told you she sold them to a new group.. Sorry man just haven't been around this site to much lately but check in from time to time since it was my first forum on the net ever. It will be cool if you can make it down to Laguna I will be camping for the whole weekend and doing some riding at visits downtown. Also, I am just entering my 13th yr in Sac. I miss LA and maybe you miss this place. Wana trade?

Yes I remember. I still haven't seen Mona for awhile. Maybe she got out of the industry.
Cool. I'll be at Laguna, along with a bunch of other peeps from this site.
I do miss Sac. I was just up there for Hangtown. But I don't think I'd give up SoCal. We've dug in. Next place we move is to Jamaica!

Mona E-mails me from time to time. She stopped by to say hi in Bend last summer... She sold the seat company. I forgot what she's up to now......

Doug - if you hear from her again, could you let know how to get in touch with Jen & I. She's a good friend and we kinda lost touch a little over the last few years. We knew her when it was Young's Cycle Seats back in the late 70's. She was doing all my Superbike seat mods. You remember; when we use to have the "step" put in to help hold us onto those evil handling Z1's..... Ah, the good old days when bikes had personalities, hinges in the middle, and we all cheated alot and got away with it....
She's good people and we miss seeing and talking to her.

u know, that actually brings up a really interesting point: club tracks. i was gonna say just MORE tracks, and perhaps they are more strictly divided into experience groups, but that wont exsure idiots are kept out. it occurred to me there are plenty of private ski hills, an equally expensive endeavour shared by many people, and the same concept would prolyl work for tracks. damn, somebody really has to do this!

While this is a 'members only' track, we do have CMRA races there, too. They are building a private track in Houston as well. Nice.
