Rear Hugger

Hello All,

I'm sure that there is something on the site regarding putting a custom rear hugger on.

I just got one that is painted and matches the bike (BLUE) but it seems to rub the tire. Has anyone else seen this problem? Any suggestions on what to do?

can you be more specifc about the hugger? Brand, where you ordered it from and where it rubs etc?

I bought it off e-bay from nycparts.com. Its made of fiberglass and custom painted. Looks real good. I don't have it installed yet but when I layed it in place it looks like its going to rub in the iddle of the tire.

Yeah I'm gonna agree with the geek and say your best bet is to use spacers *i'd use aluminum washers for durability* to lift it off your tire to your preference.

I dropped 1 tooth on the front sprocket, and have almost 3/4 of and inch between the 190/55 and the hugger

I just went back to a 190/50 on the rear of the bike, adn it looks like ass, got way to much room between the tire and hugger now, I am going to have to fix that....;(
