I have the LM-1 that doug spencer sell, Great tool!
Karl and johnnycheese were the first two with great reviews.
What do you want to know?
Instant A/F will riding.
Data logging for easy mapping.
Easy install.
I'm not a salesmen but if you like to tune and tinker this is a must have.
It's a poor mand DYNO!

I want a Wide Band Commander. The thing that bothers me is having someone weld the sensor bung to my TiForce. I hear steel, and Ti don't like to be welded together. So a one off Ti bung will need to be made for all us non-Akra, and Micron Ti pipe owners.

already ordered it, get it next week, here there's no dyno, and all supplied maps for the 10r and my 12r aren't good, so i must have this tool to tune myself my bikes, the wide band commander is not expensive.

Best A/F ratio is a little hard to say even with a dyno. short answer ~12.2.
This tool will tell you what your A/F is at a certain tps and rpm.
example... you hit record and ride your bike just like you always do.
Stop lights, run it thru the gears, whatever, then go back a look at the
A/f map. If a squre (2% tps at 5000 rpm) was 13.5 in the a/f map then you go into the same square in the power commander map and make adjustments. Then go ride again.
If your bike misbehaves at a certin RPM, hit record and go to that RPM. no more guessing rich or learn , and at what exact RPM and TPS.
For everyday traffic you would be VERY supprised at how few squares are used.

I don't need the 10r either but I thought it would look cool at the dragstrip if I whipped out my laptop and plugged in. I guess I could plug into the Power Comander and just play solitare, save some money

Aren't these commonly referred to as Lamda sensors?

you do need the adaptor to get tps, rpm, ETC.
It's only ~$100, which brings it in line with other units $450-500.
The base unit give a/f but has no inputs for rpm or tps.
Sorry if i mislead you.

No mislead,
Did you hook that up on a ZX10R?
Was it hard to access the inputs for the RPM and TPS?
Did you mount that unit on the bike, it looke a little large from some vid's I saw of it?

Thanks for the help,
Mike

It's a little large for bling
(approx 7" x 4" x 2"), but it's a tool.
Hook it up, tune your bike, take it off.
I have a zx12. 2 wire to battery +,-.
1 wire tps, 1 ground , and 1 (RPM) coil ground.
All 3 can be found at the ecu.
very simple one you fine the wires.
