MotoGP on DVD.
Just picked up the new Pioneer DVD-A08XL. It'll burn single layer DVDs at up to 16X, and will do double-layer DVDs at 4X. Course, double layer isn't out yet, but I'll do some burns with it this weekend to see how the single layer stuff works. In any case, I'm looking forward to being able to cram three or four of the motogp races on each dvd. That'd be mondo cool if I can get four on each dvd, as the entire season would fit on four dvds.

What was it about this model of burner that guided your choice? I've been thinking about a DVD burner but all the formats and stuff is kinda confusing.

It'll burn at 16X on 8X media, and it'll burn dual layer dvd at 4X. The only other dual layer burner is Sony, and it burns at 2.4X.
