Pilot Powers A+++++

Just put a full day on my new set of Michelin Pilot Powers.
Without question the best street tires I have ever mounted to a motorcycle. I literally increased corner speeds over 10% as opposed to stock. Truly amazing.

I stuck with the stock sizes. Put about another 100 miles of hard turning on them (hittin the clovers hard!) They hold up much better than the 218's. Wearing great, 218's would get real greasy when put to the clovers.
I've never ran on a better street tire in 21 years of riding sportbikes. They're that good!

I road with the Pilot Powers for the first time today on my ZX-12R. Sweet tires. Felt good in the turns.

I checked that site. Great site! They were a little more (263.00) for the sizes I ordered but, that's still a great price. Thanks for the tip.

Sorry, forgot to mention that was 120/70 and 180/55. As you note, the 190 rear is slightly more...

There is a guy on zx-10r.net that posted a pick of his after a track day, looks like they held up really well, and he said they performed great for him.

no disrespect intended here, but the way they perform is relative to the level of a riders abilities, what performs well to you or I, may not to Nicky or Valentino. How fast is the guy that had them at the track? is he running competitive speeds or just cruising? If the Powers can take a hard day at the track, then they will definately be my next tire. I like the M-1's and I know the abuse they can handle, and they are very predictable. I guess the only way i will know how the powers do for sure is to try them myself....looks like it will be next spring though, i still have 3 sets of tires in the trailer for the ZX10.

I think frankyoz was referring to the Bridgestone 014's & not the Pilot Powers. Although, I wouldn't hesitate to take the P.P.'s out for a trackday.

AAAAAA, I think you are right, i misunderstood his post....well Dam. I have already ran an 014 front with the factory 019 rear, adn they are ok, much better then the D218's IMO.....but just not sticky enough for me....

I may be running Bear Mountain this weekend w/ a few guys.
If this turns out, I will let you know how the tires held up. So far mostly short runs on them, they behave flawlessly. Great feedback & warm up real fast,wearing much better than 218's
