...agreed...suspension will compress and bring hard parts closer to the tarmack at a more 'upright' angle, thus utilizing the 'usable' part of the tire's tread surface while cornering, deformative squirm footprint included....as oppose to leaning it over static and unladened/unloaded and making the hard parts touch while the bike is over the edge of the usable tire surface...am i on the right track?

I think I know what yer' talkin' 'bout now Willis.
I was signed up for the fast group, but I decided since I had never seen the track before, i would start in the slower group.
After the 2 tire warming laps I let 'er go. ( the second picture above is from the first session)
Well, after a couple laps at speed an instructor had me follow him off the track. I thought "oh shit, I musta' done an inside no no.
We shut the bikes off and flip the visors up.
I say "did I do something wrong?"
He says "No, no,....(gives the thumbs up) picture perfect form man, excellent speed dude, after this session you need to get in the fast group"

So, I thought to myself...."cool".
I go out and get a couple more laps in and another instructor has me follow him off the track.
More kudos?... nope.
He flips his visor up and says "Dude you need to SLOW DOWN!"
Then he goes into a rant about going twice a s fast as everyone out there...yada,yada,...when your tires are sliding you are going too fast...yada,yada,.....you're going faster than the fast group should be going, yada....get your sticker changed and get out of this group!
This is NOT a race, we are here to have fun!"

I replied, "I AM having fun!"
That put a smile on his face and he mellowed out a little.
Needless to say, the rest of the day was spent with fast group:O

Thanks Mike! Looking forward to doing it again! Gotta but tires next time! Street tires just don't cut it for all day track sessions.
