Anyone who has the factory adjustable ECU

I'm curious what your feelings are on the box. How much adjustability have you played with?

I'm debating whether I need on or not. Havea PC3USB, and looking ofr more adjustability. Any opinions are worthwhile

not for the $1129.00 for the ECU, then another $599.95 for the PC?laptop cord, and then you still need the supplemental harness that hasnt even been priced yet according to the 2004 Kawasaki Acessory Guide that I just got today in the mail.

Hell for that much money I will get some good headwork done.....with cams....lol

THe verdict was that you'd do the same with a PC3 for a whole lot less $. Kbryant can answer that.

Yea, like I can win on this one..... No comment....

What exactly is your definition of "more adjustability"? What is it doing that actually limits you?

i believe that you can get all of what you need through a PC and maybe an ignition advance or a PCIIIR for much less money than you will get from the new ECU. I am not familure with the new ECU, but for that kind of money, it better either give really good HP, or a blowjob.....

I hear from a tuner buddy working with the GSXR 1K that there is a guy who either still works for Motec, or used to work there, that builds an adjustable ECU for around 1600. Supposedly that ECU could be made to work with the 10R without too much trouble. Sounded like the plan was to make those changes. I haven't talked with him for a while so I don't know any more details. Anyone else heard anything? Sorry the info is a little sparse.

Bazzaz Performance Design is who you are looking for for the 1k box. I talked with one of their techs last week, and they are working on it, but won't be ready for the 10r for a little while

What type of adjustability are you looking for?

Specifically, ignition, but the ECU offers adjustability of the secondary butterflies, as well as a few other things that I can't remember immediately. It's a good piece if you have the resources to tune it, hence the reason I am trying to locate one that someone has decided they don't need.
