Preps for the Seattle 100
So, gonna try to do 100 laps. Half hour sessions. Should be ok if I stick with 2 minute laps. Just thinking out loud...
Hmm...
Gas. Gotta bring a lot of gas. I'll bring two five gallon cans, should be good to go.
Oil. Will bring 1 quart 'just in case'.
Tires. No prob there. This is an endurance race, not a sprint. Good way to finish off the 218s.
Bike prep -
Disconnect and tape headlights - painter's tape will come off without leaving a residue. Tape front signals, remove rear signals and license plate.
Not going to bother bringing the tire warmers. Yes, if I had a set of slicks on the bike, I would. But DOT tires? No way.
Banners. Got one from work. Now I need one from ZX10R Zone!

hope the track aint got many BUMPS....
100 laps, man what kind of whimp are you....and 2 minute lap times, my grandma can turn better lap times in a dam 10 speed....get with it man.....
you are a far braver man than I if you ride those crappy 218's on the track....I thought about it, then thought better of it, I like my bike the way it is, NO ROAD RASH.......

Got her taped up and her tail all naked. Looks good!
I cut a couple pieces of black construction plastic and used a zip tie to hold them in place in the holes. Not too noticable, and covers the big hole so I shouldn't have to worry bout water in case it rains.

BTW - it was easier to just pull the fuses for the head and tail lamps than anything else. Was going to unplug things but thought it through...
