Little bike
Anyone know where I can get a 400 cc streetbike. Want to get one for my girlfriend but they only seem to be available overseas. I thought I saw a 400 cc ninja once. Or am I completely full of it.

Don't think she's tall enough for something like that. But I could buy one of them 150 or 200c.c. thumpers and do it. Good thinking worm.

Kawasaki do a ZX 400, or at least they did. Never seen one in the US though, only seen them in the UK.

Nearly every Japanese bike you can think of has been produced in 400cc or 250cc form for the Japanese market, including the original-style early '80's Katana's, which by the way look really good.
The 400's available that I can think of off the top of my head are: VFR (RC30 styling), RVF (RC45 styling), ZZR, ZXR, ZXR-SP (single-seat super trick one. Apparently the best of all the 400's), GSXR/GSXR-SP (with traditional cradle frames), FZR, CBR.
There are bound to be more than this available and there are even more in 250cc form. Not being a resident of the USA I have no idea of where you would get one from but I'm sure you could find one with a bit of looking.
One of my friends had a VFR for a while. It was a great bike and he did over 60,000 miles on it before he sold it. It still ran extremely well. Very nice to ride.

The only 400 sportbike that made it to the US legally was the FZR400 in the late '80s, very cool bike. I still want one. They're hard to find these days, most have been beaten to death at the track.

Ok, so I want a zxr400. That thing is awsome. I can't seem to find one here in the states though. Even found a few owners groups websites and EVERY single person with one for sale is located in the uk. Bovine, do you have any contact info for the importers?? Thankx for your help everyone. I love this board.
