alright so I'm an idiot!!!! need help
to make this short and simple (or so I thought it was going to be) Well basically I broke the head off of the 6mm bolt that holds the seat down. No big deal write, get a bolt out or back out bit however you call it, drill in a little and then unscrew the bolt (whats left of it anyway). I made the first hole and then put the second part in to unscrew the bit and now it looks like they are one piece. I obviously didn't do something write so everyone go ahead and laugh. I would like to fix it I know that the part that was(still is, BECAUSE I CAN'T GET THE D@MN THING OUT) in the subframe is part number 92210-0099. How would anybody suggest I get this replaced? Thanks for any help!!!!

on a good note: I did get the PCIIIusb in and the built in garage door opener, along with adjusting my throttle correctly.

I broke mine off too but I could get on the bottom of it with pliers and backed it out with them. It didn't take much to twist the head off it. Pretty weak stuff.

...how are you guys breaking this bolt?...was it real righty tighty which strippy'd the bolty and lefty'd in the holey?...or was it cross-threaded?...do you use a touch of loctite blue and finger tight it?...the front tab seems to do a good job of stabilizing the seat...mebbe we should look for a hardened button head allen bolt to replace this weak link?...I'll go hunt down a suitable replacement at Lowe's today or tomorrow...stainless steel should do it...

No shop is complete without an easy-out set. They saved me when I snapped off the head on one of those fancy oil plugs with the magnet in it. After getting the main portion of the bolt out of my oil pan, I found out they drill the center of the bolt and put a magnet in it. I guess they drilled the one I bought to far.
Question - what did you do for the built in garage door opener? Pics?

I can't picture what you have right now. Did the EZ Out break too? I have the ones with spiral flutes on them and another set that has a square cross section that tapers somewhat. It's important to drill as far as possible into the broken bolt, all the way through the center if possible. Then tap the EZ Out into the hole with a hammer to get a good grip. Then turn it out. I'm probably not telling you anything you haven't already tried, eh? Don't feel like an idiot. We've all been there.

I have a set of left-handed drill bits that I use for this exact scenario. However, finding a store that stocks them is not easy - I get mine from one of the tool trucks, they work great.

as for the screw, I tried the ez out but it just I never got a grip of it and I am not sure if I did something else wrong that is why I was asking. I will try again tonight when I get home. Thanks for all your guys help!

Easy Out kit from Harbor Freight. It's cheap and comes with both the bits and the easy outs. Wouldn't have a tool box without it. I think it will go down below a 6mm thread bolt, but I have removed more 6mm bolts that I will ever admit with it. Fast, easy and doesn't screw up the threads.
I also will not talk about my tap and helicoil sets or how often I have used them either.

careful not to break the easy out as those are a bitch to drill out.
Also, hope to christ that it broke because it was stuck. I snapped the clutch bolt off on a 96 Katana and when attempting to drill it out it kept turning with the drill bit and sinking further into the basket.
