OK...
I KNOW it isn't a back to back comparo on the same bike but...
I can tell you that the ZX10 that I installed this Akro on made less power ONLY from 4,200+ to 5,000...that is at WFO throttle in 4th gear...
It actualy made 5.5 MORE power @ 3,800 (I "hit it" @ 3,500)...
It is "equal" @ 4,200 @ WFO...
If you are rolling it on (as you should be???) between 4-5K...there is no way you would feel any "loss of power" in that range IMHO...
This bike made 12.5 more HP @ 12,000 and increased to...how-bout 16+ more @ 12,500...
MAX power for each was 11,500 for Stocker...12,300 for Akro, with Akro falling-off less-than 1Hp to the limiter...
The power falls off a lot with stock pipes and the Akro keeps increasing power to within 300rpm of the limiter...I'd say close enough to the limiter that it wouldn't hurt to be able to raise the limit a few hundred Revs...
Once again...please don't flame me for not doing BtoB runs on THEEE bike that got the Akro...we just didn't have the time...that day...
The Stock bike I used to compare made 154-155 Hp...
It was almost 20* cooler when I ran the ShowRoomStocker that I used for the above #s...
