Not much really. Oh sure, I used to wear tight pants and tall Gestapo Boots when I rode my bicycle. I cut a badge shape out of cardboard and covered it with tinfoil. Then I would detain the neighbor girls and try to do strip searchs and such. You know, nothing any other normal kid didn't do.

I saw a civilian chips impersonator going through an intersection yesterday.
I thought of Ponch immediately.
But sad to say, a dim memory of his character is all the influence he has on me.

Larry "John" Wilcox actually got into the industry. Does anyone remember his MX appareall line? Saw him at some trade shows.

I used to watch it more-so when Bruce Penhall was on it, simply because he was a hero speedway rider and it was cool to see a pro racer make it to the "show"!

Oh, and "Kung Fu" - yes.

...definitely Batman, Green Hornet, Barny from The Andy Griffith Show, and later AirWolf and KnightRider...and who could forget the original Three Stooges (Moe Larry Curlie) for sheer mindless entertainment and youthful indiscretions????

...but most of all MaryAnn from Gilligan's Island...mmmmm....MaryAaaaaaaaaann....

My absolute favorite - "Then Came Bronson". Oh hell yea! I wanted to be just like him traveling the country. Remember the triangle eye in the gas tank? Remember when he entered that hill climb competition on his 900 Sportster? Dam, almost forgot about that show. Thanx for the memory wormie.
