Hyperpro steering damper
Anyone use one before? I like the active dampening aspect. And theres like a bunch of other damper companys that are purchusing the rights to use the design. Muzzy being one of em. Anyone use one and have a review?

Muzzy didn't purchase the rights to the design, they buy the HyperPro dampers and do the research and development for a really cool mounting system.

I don't know the price. Wouldn't think it would be too different from the price for their 12R damper.

You just don't seem to get it, even tho I've clearly stated that they build their own mounting system. What mounts come with the Hyperpro unit?

Mr. Runninhorn has been posting here for a few weeks and it's been real enjoyable to follow his questions and comments. (In the beginning I was wondering if he'd been riding very long or what)

you didnt ask about the mounting system, swft however told you the mounting systems differ. that is the only difference. the damper and the mounting system are 2 different things and u need both to use a damper. the muzzys litereally uses the hyperpro damper, but _only_ the damper, and the mounting system is their own.

swft - 50 lashes for snide remark and 100 more for being a post whore. Never mind, you'd probably enjoy all that. Ooppss, that was a very insensitive comment and I retract it. 1000 pardons please.

You know how it is.. Too much posting, he's slow, and he's old. So sometimes he get's testy.... He's actually a really nice guy. Fair question. Fair answer. Something got lost in translation.
You'll be really happy with the Muzzy. Sweet design and easy to install (similiar to the 12).
No need to be sorry. I participate here because I enjoy sharing with those interested in learning more and/or who share a common luv of anything with 2 wheels and a motor. Peace.

The ironic aspect of this entire thread is that I asked a question that was ment really for a review of the product not about the different mounting aspects of each one. I admit I know very little about either mounting system, but I was really trying to find out if anyone has used the product and what they thought about it. So thanks KB for being the only one that answered. :P
And I'm not sure but am I missing someone? All the guy did is leave a smile face... Is that code for something?
