Installing a Threaded Boss for a Damper...

Anyone have suggestions on fitting a threaded boss for the 10 similar to what the ZX-6RR has? I have two Ohlins dampers that are too large for across the tank (and there are no fitting kits out yet anyway), but that would work perfectly as side mounts.

The only question is how best to produce a mounting point for the frame. Obviously, welding is a possibility, but that might look crappy.

You know, it all depends on the person doing the welding, I have partners that are pipe fitters and they say the welds on the frames look like shite comapred to the quality & specs they have to adhear to. And then you have the refinishing of the frame, paint ot polish it... Hmm?

I used to know welders that were nuclear certified. Those fuckers knew how to weld...

XL, crazy enough, I was looking at that mount last night (on the left side though) and it appears close enough that something could be done quite easily. But, if Kawi has a part #, it may just be easier to go with their piece.

Could you shoot the part # to me? email sweires@yahoo.com

Thanks.
