Bleeding brakes

I wanted to bleed the brakes to make sure they were DONE RIGHT,my rear tire had 70 psi in it on delivery.Do I need to match the brand of fuild and type,or just the type.THANKS

Do you feel a need to do it or just feel like wrenching? Understand part of your concern with that much air in the rear. Sometimes easy task can end up being quite a pain. I feel as long as you use a good quality DOT4 you should be fine, but you may want to wait on a few more replies. Breakes will start to feel better as you complete break-in. If it ain't broke . . .

Zip tie the brake lever to start.
If you dont know how to bleed brakes... dont start trying with the ZX10.
