How long should I give my dealer....
before I pull my deposit and go elsewhere?
I have a deposit down on the first Green to arrive. Well, as luck would have it, the first bike already came in, but it is Black. There are three more that he ordered, two are green.
Does anyone know how Kawasaki typically distributes? Is it likely that he sees the other bikes soon, or will they make him wait a while before sending him another?
It's been 5 months since I sold my big Gix and I'm chomping at the bit as badly as anyone here. If it looks like I have to wait another month or so, then I'll pull the deposit and go to another dealer.
What do you guys think?

You might want to wait it out as the timely availablitiy isn't guaranteed at another dealer either. I am in a similar situation to yours, only no bikes have come in yet and I am like everyone else. WAITING FOR MY BIKE TOO!!!

Round 1,
The dealers get ONE bike of their order (normally)
Round 2,
The dealers get the rest of their order.
Usually from the East to the West coast.
btw- they have not delivered round 1 to Az, yet.

Heck, in Phoenix, my dealer is claiming Round 1 didn't even come YET.
I, being #2 on the deposit list, would logically be #1 for round 2. I dunno what's really happening.

Kelly's, and Metro claims April. Valley is selling their first one whenever it comes to a buddy of mine from a different forum, and I have no idea about Apache.

Cool, I'm #1 at Apache and PIM. Apache is cool but since they only really deal with Kawasaki on a smaller scale they say it's hard to get any kind of pricing on them.... Kelly's was talking MSRP to me and had a pretty good list going... Let me know how you do. And if I get the bike from one or the other maybe we can work out something with the other dealer I'm working with to claim the #1 status
