Laguna Seca test info? Well the Laguna Seca test seems to be concluded. I know they had poor weather the first day, spotty weather the second day and I heard they had good weather the third day. I have seen lots of pictures of the team green riders and the red riders, but no damn lap times. I wish out of all of those people who took cameras, at least one would have taken a stop watch instead. Anybody hear any lap times? Results? Team Green happy? Optimistic? Searching for answers? Whazup?

Nothing from the usual suspects. Pardon my spelling error in my above post. RRWorld has a bit about Bistrom raving about his CBR, but that's all.

I had a feeling you'd be the first to bag on that sentence. Hey, it was a long week at work ok? Got a little punchie late on Friday. I'm better now after a few collect calls from uncle jose at El Torito. Umm, much better now. Might not feel better in the morning though............................ Oops, time to go pray to the porcelin god. Be back in a minute...............

Yea, dominating all right.... in cubic dollars (yen) spent. How many other bikes have $125K forks and $100k+ shocks? The unpainted Kawi's didn't seem to have all of that exotic carbon fiber bits all over them either. Couldn't have anything to do with class rules, could it?

Superbike racing ain't cheap or for the faint of heart. Superstock is a different story. I think the Kaw's are doing fantastic right out of the box. But let's not mix up the classes or rules.
It's interesting on how the high dollar suspension thing keeps coming up. I let you in on a little secret, if more people had their suspension "blueprinted" you'd be closer to works suspension. Most of the magic lies in knowing shim stacks, vavling, understanding a click here, a turn there, spring rate here, preload there, ride height here, sag there, etc, etc.. Most people don't and they end up "clicking" themselves the wrong way. No doubt, it's a science. It is the "magic" that makes the difference in laps times; more than any other facet.
Going through the suspension and measuring to the finite, polishing, deburring, micing , purging, etc. makes a huge difference. That's what top level suspension is all about; worx or otherwise. When you get suspension guru's teamed up with "A" level riders, they work magic together.
Anyway, only know the Superbike times and they are meaningless. The conditions weren't the best. And all we were doing is continuing to sort out the bugs before the next test at Fontana & Daytona.
Oh by the way, I feel surprising good after last nights fun. Think I might just go for a ride!
