It's offical..

AWell it's offical guys. I have not strayed from my brand. After lots of long and hard consideration as well as making check list pro's and cons from all 04 liter bikes, I have made a decision and this morning at 11:30 am found myself down at mission motorsports in Laguna, CA placing a 600 dollar non-refundable deposit on a new 10R. There is no waiting list, but I worked it so whenever the first of either orange, blue or black come in to call me. As I like all three colors and would probably take either. Though im partial to orange. All I can say is I hope this bike treats me as well as it's little brother the ZX636 did.

The OTD price was something I simply couldn't pass up.

By the way for those folks living in southren CA, or are willing to drive there having problems loacting a decent OTD price let me know, I think I got a decent deal.

Well it was a CA deal so keep in mind it's harder to get decent OTD's here in CA. But I got it for 11,000 even. Got it in writing. The best I could find was close to match this was in OK, CA, for 10,999 but they wanted like 350 for the 3 year, etc.

I'm a Socal Kawboy. Piece o cake to get the long deal here. $11k sounds reasonable for a brand new sought after model. It'll come down though. I got my '03 ZX12 for $10.2k otd in November of '02. I believe from a suggested retail price standpoint, the 12 was/is still priced higher than the 10. All things being reasonably equal, we should be able to get the 10 for the same or less. Just depends how badly and how quickly one wants a 10.

I got mine(Orange) for 10,599 OTD from Koups in Harrisburg, PA. They do ship stuff(like mine overseas) so you guys might want to check them out on the net. They have all the prices and stuff listed on their web site.
