NOS question
What happens when your racing at tha strip and you get into tha NOS and miss a gear ? I've always heard that NOS+Rev limiter=BOOM!

Ive bumped the limiter before on spray....while its certainly not the best thing you can do to your motor....and certainly can be cause some catastrophic things to happen....a simple tap or two isnt going to damage much provided you have the bike setup properly.
Wouldnt make a habit out of it though.

People install window switches to prevent this problem- no spray below 6K or above 11k or some such. Some folks install a cutout during shifts - to prevent the BANG when the spark comes back.

I have hit the rev limiter 0nce on NOS The Bike lived through it, Me, I cleaned my pants!

I have hit the limiter a couple of times but it will blow, some of us just get 7 lives

Not to high jack the thread but since all the players are here.
Will the 1361 handle a 100 hp wet shot?
Will a controller be a must?

Yes it can handle it but you should be at about -6 on timing. How long is the bike. You are going to be around 290 HP, I would run a control. Unless you are not going to use it until 3rd or 4th gear

The bike currently has a 6" over arm. Muzzy sidewinder on the
way. Best 60' so far with stock motor is 1.49. I need a find a
oil pan like a coby or something else that will allow the bike to come
down. suggestions with prices?

Damn MAW sold me a pipe they don't have.
No sidewinder in the mail. so i guess i don't need
a oil pan either.
DAMN DAMN DAMN
anyone else have ideas or experience with the 1361 and a big shot of Nitrous.
