Barry Henson goes 7.51@195 in testing
I read on Dragbike.com (posted by Scott Valetti) that Barry ran a 7.51 @ 195 in testing at Gainesville yesterday. Looks like there might be some records broken this weekend - I wonder what Coby and Rickey have planned?

I heard he (Barry) was going to run the next MIR/ROCK race in the outlaw class.
the class record is 7.25 i believe .
Wht do ya think he could do with more wheelbase and a slick?

Geno Scali on the Prostock Bike ran two 7.01's!!!!!!! A New worlds record!!
and Barry ran a 7.56 last night at 189mph! Man I hope Rickey can step it up today!!!

Barry beat Rickey in the final of the make-up race with a 7.56 (the new backed-up record) to Rickey's problematic 8.0x. Fortunately for Rickey, he lost the battle but won the war, clinching the Shootout championship by simply qualifying with a 7.82. He ran a 7.66 in the second round.
Tomorrow starts a new race - the World Finals - so the record could drop some more before the weekend is over.

Aw man.... whata weekend.
Bear's new 12 fucking flat haulz the mail!!!! 7.60s with a 17 yr old rider (one heck of a rider too) aboard.
Ricky's shit is old now...lol.
Barry was peeling off .50 runs like nothing and making it look easy. Never outta shape.... just smooth!
Lee Shierts was kicking but with the GSXR600/Hayabusa combo. 7.8s every pass. He lost in the semis though.
Stotz broke today... bad news for them.
A turbo 12 from Puerto Rico was there... kinda hobbled down the track at 8.50s (a full second slower than Velocity!) at 180. The rider was fighting the bike the whole way down.
Prostock saw a 7.00 run by Harry's boy Scali. McBride went 6.00 in Top Fuel. Chad Millholland beat Ryan Schnitz on the 600ss but lost on a technicality. He lost to Chip Ellis in the Semis today in a heartbreaker. He's fast! Qualified #2. THe Millhollands should be proud!

Actually Francie is 19 but only been racing for 2 years since he was "17". The thing about Francie's 7.66 run was he had 3 or 4 wheelies before he was at the 1/8 mile cone! Plus, this was only his 7th run ever on the bike! I feel that he can do 7.4's and will break into the 7.3's before it is all over!
His bad run of 7.77 was in the lane a bike had blown up and the officials stated that there was no oil, even though I saw them pick up a few parts. Watching the run with the bike (For the first time) getting and then losing traction in the last 1/3 mile and also rickey losing in the same lane just before the him, made me think that there was at least a fine mist of oil on the course! When that buss Exploaded, no one could see anything for several minutes! We all held our breath and the smoke cloud went past!

He paid Muzzy to build a bike that could win the street Bike Shootout class Period! The Muzz man has done his part +10%. There is just no way you can beat RG's Time while doing 3 or 4 wheelies unless the bike is "Clearly" Better!
