Went to Jax Raceways last night...
02 ZX12, Race Hindle pipe, BMC Filters, Lowering Links middle hole (for street), forks lowered in trees 1", Heli-Bars, PC3 my mapping, STOCK GEARING, Stock EVERYTHING else.
First time ever on this bike, first time on SHORT bike with STOCK GEARING in years...Did NOT try to kill the clutch...didn't want to have to buy new plates for owner if "used too much" 
First run...KNEW it wouldn't quite make it through 1/8 in 2nd but didn't want to shift too close to finish...NO Front End Strap 
1.794 60ft with rear tire  BIG WHEELIE/FUN!!!  4.601 330ft Big Wheelie FUN Fun...
6.790 1/8 @ 111.66mph in SECOND GEAR on limiter all the way accross traps
Run 2...WITH Strap (Thank you Jay)...
1.735 60ft, 4.425 330ft, 6.555 @ 115.64mph using limiter to shift 3rd (GP-pattern...push shifter JUST before limiter and Vwha-LA! PERFECT shift when limiter hits without lifting!!!
Run 3...let clutch out too slow and knew it
1.795 60ft, 4.462 330ft, 6.570 @ 116.60 mph
Run 4...first round of RACING...(6.55 dial-in)
1.746 60ft, 4.417 330ft, 6.568 @ 109.26 lifting to WIN 1st round (against Amanda...so Dean knows )...
Run 5...round two...
1.734 60, 4.459 330, 6.629 107.67mph OFF the throttle and GAVE the race to Dwain could/SHOULD have won...
That's racing...FUN Fun fun!!!
Got to ride the bike last weekend after installing Heli Bars and I...just CAN'T get over how FREEKING FUN the 12s are...
UNfuknREAL...been ridding several of them (mostly at track) for 3 years now and STILL just can't NOT get a RUSH when I ride-em...
Decided almost for SURE...going to get a ZX12!!! instead of a Rex (when I can afford )
SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME RIDE ONE WITH A BUILT MOTOR!?!?!?
I swear...I'll wear a diaper so I don't GOOOtheSEATwhenI...blowMYwaddd!!!
John is at Gainesville right NOW or I'd be finishing up the DryShot
Screw it...I'm gonna go ride the STOCKER some more since I have it this weekend too!!!
Oh Ya...forgot to mention all week...I made it to 183mph on GPS before letting off...TWICE on the above bike...
Instead of GOING on vacation I bought a GPS/stayed at home...
Is that fast??? sure did feel like it!

sounds like someone had fun playing at the track!
KC: does Jax have LED's on the tree??? If so, how are yr RT's????
BTW. how much do you weigh? If I make it to Fla this year, maybe we can see how a pro (you!) does on a TFA-12, eh?

The track seems a lot longer when you're short 25hp, huh? Maybe you can keep a 16T front sprocket in your toolbox... Nice job.
I think you're better off with a 12 - easier, cheaper to go fast on.
Since you don't have email, and don't answer your phone, can you give me a call about Ryan & porting?

I weigh 180ish (176-180)...
I honestly don't know about the lights yet...

What do you mean 25HP short???
Ron's bike made like 176+...It IS about a half-FOOT SHORT though
I have the 17tooth sprocket on order

not sure when I'm going but prolly Nov. I hope your idea doesn't involve racing for money, because the last time I raced for money it was with Johnny the Mexican and I lost a DOLLAR!!!! N/J!!!

LOL.. fun fun, Congrats kevin!! sound like a blast.. man my weekend was crazy.... but fun! put a trans in DWB's bike and helped him get everything together on friday night went to sleep at 4:00am.. then Saturday I had my Bacholer party.. and needless to say, Holy crap I was trashed.... got home at 4:30 that morning. and then sunday I raced.. and we were up at 8:00am...my best light of the entire day was a .595... but I made it 6 rounds and ran the fastest pass ever. everyone kept letting off on my and I would blow by them right at the finish line.. LOL.. man it freaking rocked... and my best pass. was a 1.48 60', 3.90= 330', and the 1/8th mile of 5.90@121.8mph.... Wooo Hooo!!!! it rocked!!!and that was going into limiter in 3rd gear in the traps..... fun fun!
